Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

• Develop project schedules, set milestones, periodic review of the schedules, revise the plans and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of milestones.

• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders for the flawless execution of project

• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.

• Facilitate two-way communication by acting as the interface between management and subordinates

• Identify when the project schedule is at a risk take necessary actions to minimize the risk and update senior management.

• Facilitate team collaboration within a team environment while creating a vision around the project to provide team members with a sense of purpose and motivation.

• Contribute/achieve set divisional Goals & KPIs.

• Ensure the project team receive proper knowledge about the process and the business domain

• Support the team to resolve problems efficiently by analyzing the root causes using problem solving techniques and encourage continuous improvement

• Contribute to the process by giving suggestions for process improvements and educating team members to align with the process

• Facilitator of the process. Knowledgeable on different agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban and applies it to the organization taking to consideration the different variables in order to effectively achieve the stipulated outcome.

• Partners with the Business Analyst or the Product Owner in order to identify the short, medium and long term priorities which would create value to our end users

• Plans and initiates dependency meetings that are targeted to iron out multi team dependencies and also ensures that the said dependencies are completed before the work gets to the team

• Executes projects effectively by coaching the team on agile practices. Sets up and facilitates the core iteration planning, daily scrum, demo and retrospective meetings.

• Exposure on IT project management in managing medium/ large scale projects (projects with a time span of 6+ months).

• Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management

• Knowledge of Agile project management techniques and tools

• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

• Understanding of the financial impact of operational decision

• 5- 7 years’ experience of project management and in managing multiple project teams.

• Experience in management of people, risk and change.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in either software development, quality engineering or business analysis is an added advantage.
